Cross Valsugana following the course of the Brenta river, from the deep-blue waters of Lake Caldonazzo to Grigno, the last town in Trentino before Veneto. Most of the itinerary is slightly downhill, so let your bike roll as you admire the beauty around you – apple orchards and vineyards, historic villages and alpine lakes, with the peaks of the Dolomites towering above. The itinerary is entirely paved, mostly on dedicated cycle lanes, and it runs very close to the Valsugana railway connecting Trento to Bassano del Grappa, offering several opportunities to cut the trip short if necessary.
